Lauchheim Sandstone
Strongly ochre yellow-brownish, homogeneous quartz sandstone with fine grains of equal size and rich in iron, with more or less intensive textures of iron hydroxides.
Another typical feature is a low content of mica and clay minerals.

Historical monument stone; today in exterior and interior architecture for façade cladding, floor coverings, solid stone objects as well as works in the preservation of historical monuments
